Stackpole Electronics Inc.
3261 Atlantic Avenue
Raleigh, NC, 27604
USA

Press release date: June 15, 2010

RALEIGH, NC - The RNC series from Stackpole is a surface mount precision thin film chip resistor series with one of the broadest ranges of resistance values, sizes, tolerances, and TCR's in the industry. The RNC series has many part numbers in stock at the Stackpole warehouse and through distribution, and the NCNR is waived for the most popular sizes and resistance values. In addition, the lead times for the RNC remain at 8 weeks or less meaning even non-stocking part numbers can usually be delivered far more quickly than most competitor's could offer.

The RNC offers the industries smallest thin film chip size, the 0201 and includes all other standard EIA chip sizes up to and including 2512. The resistance value ranges from 1 ohm up to 3 Meg ohms. Stackpole has recently improved the precision offering of the RNC product and can now offer absolute tolerances down to 0.01% and TCR's as low as 5 ppm per degree C. The RNC series is available in standard 7 inch tape and reel packaging in 5K and 10K pcs quantities depending on chip size. Pricing for the RNC series varies with size, value, TCR, and tolerance and ranges from $0.13 each to $1.80 each in full reel quantities. Contact Stackpole for volume pricing.
