Blake Moret of Rockwell Automation Elected Vice Chairman of the Manufacturing Institute's Board of Trustees



Moret will help marshal research, innovation and education efforts to produce a high-quality manufacturing workforce and support U.S. competitiveness

BOCA RATON, FL, - Blake Moret, senior vice president, Control Products and Solutions, Rockwell Automation, was elected vice chair of The Manufacturing Institute (the Institute ) Board of Trustees yesterday. He will begin his two-year term immediately. Moret succeeds Ronald Bullock, chairman of Bison Gear & Engineering Corp., in this voluntary leadership position.

Moret is senior vice president, Control Products and Solutions, Rockwell Automation. One of two operating segments, the Control Products & Solutions (CP&S) business of Rockwell Automation provides intelligent motor control products, automation solutions, and support services to companies around the world.

Moret serves on the advisory board of the school of Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Milwaukee-based Urban Ecology Center, an organization focused on teaching central city youth in a natural setting. He is also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
