Louis "Lou" Marino has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of The Cable Connection, Carson City, Nevada manufacturers of wire rope assemblies and the Ultra-tecŪ cable railing system..
Marino joins The Cable Connection after serving 5 years as Chief Operating Officer of the largest supplier of ornamental steel fencing systems and hardware in the United States and top management positions with leading firms in the electronics, wire and cable, and auto parts industries.
In announcing the appointment, Mike Kechely, Chairman and President of The Cable Connection said, "With Lou joining our team, we are moving to the next level in the development and expansion of our business." Marino is assuming responsibility for the domestic and international operations of the business, while Kechely will devote his efforts to product and process development and overall strategic planning.
The Cable Connection was established in 1992 and provides mechanical cable assemblies to various industrial, commercial, and federal and local government customers throughout the United States. In 1998, the company introduced its highly successful line of Ultra-tecŪ hardware that is designed especially for cable railings.
