The Balance Systems SB 50 - RB 50 is a high precision manual balancing machine. The production change-over is quick and easy. It is capable of accurately measuring the amount of unbalance and angular position (on one or two planes) of rotating parts having:
o Maximum Mass (wheel & fixtures): 50 kg. (134 lbs.) o Maximum Wheel Diameter: 522 mm (21.5") o Maximum Wheel Width:250 mm (9.85")
It can be supplied in three versions. The RB50 standard version is supplied with PC electronics. The RB50/M2 is supplied with analog display of the unbalance amount and unbalance position by a stroboscope lamp. The RB50/DG6 is supplied with an analog display of the unbalance amount and digital display of the unbalance angular position.
All versions are supplied with one set of tooling (to accept one wheel type). Balance Systems can supply additional tooling for different wheel bores; however the additional sets of tooling are typically supplied by the customer.
Standard correction methods include:
o Free (indication of unbalance is provided in value and phase, and the customer defines their own correction algorithm) o Addition/removal of mass
