TROY, Mich. (September 5, 2006) - Eight licensed manufacturers have received the TORX® Drive System World Class Quality Award from Textron Fastening Systems for demonstrating the greatest commitment to manufacturing high quality, authentic TORX® fasteners and drivers.
Two fastener manufacturers and six drive tool producers were among TORX® licensees receiving the award. They include: o A&E Manufacturing - Racine, Wis. o Accurate Threaded Fasteners - Lincolnwood, Ill. o Cooper Industries - Dayton, Ohio o Danaher Kingsley Tools - Garland, Texas o Master Manufacturing - Evansville, Ind. o Robert Schroeder &. Co. - Wuppertal, Germany o Rockford Products - Rockford, Ill. o Western Forge - Colorado Springs, Colo. "This year's award winners exemplify the technical, manufacturing and service excellence that licensed TORX® manufacturers represent," said Marty Bieschke, Director of Intellectual Property and Licensing for Textron Fastening Systems. "Together and individually they represent an unsurpassed global supply base."

Qualified licensed manufacturers have produced billions of TORX® and the newer TORX PLUS® drive systems for automotive, industrial, electronics, aerospace, and other markets.
