Press release date: May 3, 2012

HOUSTON - WellMed, a healthcare company headquartered in San Antonio, Texas selected the Digisonics CVIS for structured reporting of their cardiovascular studies. The healthcare company provides specialized care to 90,000 patients, mostly Medicare-eligible seniors.

WellMed will utilize the Digisonics DigiNet Pro application for fully functional remote reading capabilities. Clinicians will have secure web-based access to the entire cardiovascular image management and structured reporting system for fast image review and report turnaround from anywhere at any time. Additional nuclear image analysis and quantitation capabilities will be available via seamless integration of Digisonics with INVIA Corridor 4DM-SPECT. A single click on the Digisonics Cardiology PACS and Structured Reporting workstation launches the INVIA software directly and images processed in Corridor 4DM-SPECT are stored back into Digisonics for easy review with the patient's full cardiovascular record.

Integration with the facility's GE ultrasound machines will autopopulate the patient demographics and measurements directly into the Digisonics structured report, reducing manual entry time and eliminating the potential for entry errors.
