Its Edison, N.J. lab was certified to ISO/IEC 17025:2005, General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories in March 2006. To qualify for an expanded scope of accreditation, Teseq provided A2LA with thorough documentation of the technical and operating procedures it would follow to perform the new services. A2LA also performed an onsite assessment and observed testing.

A2LA is a nonprofit, non-governmental, public service, membership society. The mission of A2LA is to provide comprehensive services in laboratory accreditation and laboratory-related training. Services are available to any type of organization, be it private or government. Laboratory accreditation is based on internationally accepted criteria for competence (ISO/IEC 17025:2005).
