Telekom Malaysia Implements Carrier Cockpit Suite

STOCKHOLM, February 14 -- Ascade, the global market-leader in Business Operations Systems for trading and exchanging voice traffic, today announced that its Carrier Cockpit Suite has been successfully deployed and gone into production, since July 2006, for its customer Telekom Malaysia Berhad(TM)'s International Voice Management System (IVMS) project.
International Voice Management System (IVMS) is a tool for TM to support management and operation of all core voice business processes; buying, routing, pricing and selling. The system automates the end-to-end processes for automatic routing update for both multi-PSTN switches and VoIP gateways.
IVMS is an integrated solution for traditional and wholesale voice business solution, which supports complex wholesale agreements including swap deals and volume commitments.
IVMS will help TM shifting from the current Least Cost Routing (LCR) into Optimum Value Base Routing and will be best practice to support voice core processes.
