Tele Atlas Launches New e-Commerce Website

GHENT, Belgium, March 10 - Tele Atlas, provider of up-to-date, accurate and comprehensive maps for brands such as TomTom, Mio and Blaupunkt, announces the launch of a new e-commerce website: navigation.teleatlas.com(http://navigation.teleatlas.com/language). Visitors to the site can purchase map updates for a range of navigation devices, report map changes and enter the draw for a trip to Rome.
Webshop
Visitors navigate the webshop with ease, finding the shortest route to the right updated map for their vehicle or navigation device. Updated Maps are also available for mobile phones and PDA's.
Experiences
Every year, Tele Atlas mobile mapping vans cover millions of kilometres throughout Europe, registering changes to the road network. Visitors can now take a look for themselves, discovering the likes of Tower Bridge in London or Potsdamer Platz in Berlin through the eye of the mobile camera.
Inside information
Thanks to the intelligent webtool, "Map Insight", users can also report changes to their neighbourhood map themselves. The tool allows users to pinpoint changes and submit a report for verification by Tele Atlas.

Coinciding with the launch, an interactive competition is offering visitors the chance to win one of 4 trips to Rome.
