- New Product Release Brings Enterprise Capability to Small Businesses
BELLEVUE, Wash., July 7 /-- Telanetix, Inc. (OTC BB: TNXI), a leading communications solutions provider offering next generation voice services and video telepresence solutions to the business market, today announced the release of a new version of its Digital Phone System (DPS) product, targeted at the Small Business Market. The new release provides the capability of operating multiple businesses out of one location using one phone system and executives and entrepreneurs now have the option of running two completely different kinds of companies from the same building using the same personnel.
This feature, although common in larger, more expensive phone systems that cost $100,000 or more, has previously been almost impossible to find for the small business with just two to twenty employees. The new release, in combination with the unique design of DPS, gives Telanetix's small business customers full access to this feature. Also, since Telanetix delivers their voice solution in a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, existing customers as well as new customers are able to take advantage of this new innovation.
"In these trying economic times, we have seen many of our customers look to increase revenue by launching new businesses while simultaneously attempting to reduce cost by using the same staff and facilities of their existing business," Doug Johnson, CEO of Telanetix, said. "Our new version of DPS allows our customers to have one phone system and publish separate phone numbers for each business, thus cutting back on overhead. When a call comes in, the phone system displays which business was called, so the person answering the phone knows how to answer. The result is that an entrepreneur can run two businesses with one phone system, an advanced productivity feature that was not previously available."
This latest release of DPS is another example of the commitment to productivity that Telanetix consistently brings to the Small Business Market. The company's ongoing innovation has been recognized with increased media attention from both industry and general business publications.
