King of Prussia, PA -- Tekni-Plex, a global, diversified manufacturer of packaging products and materials for the healthcare, consumer and food packaging industries, announced today the appointment of Robert "Andy" Jacobs to the position of West Coast Regional Sales Manager for the Pharmaceutical division.
Prior to joining Tekni-Plex, Andy served three years as Principal of RJ Packaging Solutions, a firm he co-founded to deliver material optimization, packaging development, regulatory compliance, food safety, supply chain logistics and client relationship management solutions to companies of all sizes. Before that, Andy spent five years as the West Region and International Account Manager at Printpack. His career spans over 40 years, with a diverse background of experience working for nationally known U.S. companies such as Schlitz's Brewing, Continental Can, Campbell's Soup and Benjamin Moore.
"Andy's previous experience in sales, new product and packaging development with both domestic and international companies makes him the ideal candidate for this position, "says Paul Young, CEO of Tekni-Plex, Inc. Andy graduated Cum Laude from the California State University of Chico, where he earned a B.S. in Management Science. He also holds an M.B.A in International Economics and Organizational Behavior from the University of California at Berkeley. He currently lives in Roseville, CA with his wife and children.
