Press release date: May 6, 2014

After decades of doing business as Pad Print Machinery of Vermont, the well-known automation and printing equipment supplier will be doing business as “Engineered Printing Solutions.” The corporate name, logo and web site have all been modified to more accurately capture the nature of the continuously evolving and growing company.

"It has been some time since we first introduced and sold our industrial inkjet equipment into various markets,” says Julian Joffe, CEO. “Over nearly 20 years we have built an extensive product line, expert engineering and technical departments, and automation capabilities which have made us question the limitations of our name.  It’s time for our company identity to reflect the fact that we are much more than a single-source supplier for pad printing equipment and consumables, but also an innovative machine integrator to the inkjet market with a distribution network extending  to Europe, Central America and Asia. Our new name will also prevent customers from walking by our booth at trade shows, pointing to our XD070 Single Pass Inkjet printer and asking ‘what kind of Pad Printer is that?’” Joffe commented. “Finally, we have a name that indicates who we really are and what we do as a company.”

After successfully rolling out a new line of high-speed flat bed printers to satisfy the need for compact, cost-effective printing solutions, it became obvious that more focus needed to be placed on the digital market. This is just one example of how the company continues to evolve as new technologies develop. The Engineering Department is highly innovative when it comes to approaches to individual printing challenges, and works collaboratively with customers to build custom “purpose-built” printers. The company’s new tagline “Change the way you print” captures this spirit of innovation and reflects the willingness to change with the times, while retaining an unflagging commitment to outstanding customer care and service.

Engineered Printing Solutions is located In East Dorset, Vermont and supplies both pad and industrial inkjet machinery to industries such as plastic manufacturing, packaging and converting, medical, automotive, appliance, advertising specialty and many other niche markets.
