MYRTLE BEACH S.C. (March 20, 2006) - AVX Corporation, a leading manufacturer of advanced passive components and connectors, has increased its range of voltage offerings by developing both higher voltage and lower voltage, maximum capacitance and ultra low ESR capacitors that provide high ripple current rating. Designated the TPM Series, the multianode capacitor was designed for next generation processor families.
TPM Series capacitors are now available with rated voltages of 50V, which offer a capacitance of up to 22uF and an ESR of 75mohm max. Low voltage versions down to 2.5v are also available with a capacitance value of 1500uF and ESR of 12mohm. These capacitors are available in standard E case size and are RoHS compliant.
"The characteristics of the TPM Series devices make the capacitor ideal for process filtering," said Craig Hunter, AVX Strategic Marketing Manager.
Pricing typically starts at $4.00 for 1,000 pieces of the 22uF version with a lead time of 8-12wks.
