MENOMONEE FALLS, WI (March 7, 2011) - Tailored Label Products, Inc. (TLP), a custom manufacturer of label and adhesive solutions, has announced the planned expansion of their Menomonee Falls manufacturing facility. The increase in plant capacity will allow TLP to continue to invest in new technology and label and adhesive product innovations.
TLP has seen a 25% increase in volume from 2009 to 2010 with a resurgence in its core businesses as well as over 100 new customers in 2010. TLP has also added nine people to its workforce since January 2010. "The planned plant expansion will provide TLP with the necessary space to continue to streamline our processes and improve overall effectiveness as volume continues to increase," said Mike Erwin, president of TLP.
This will be the fourth expansion TLP has undergone within the last six years. This latest undertaking will increase TLP's size to 55,900 square feet. The expansion will be completed in March 2011.
In addition to the planned expansion, TLP has just invested in two new converting machines that will increase capacity and process reliability as part of the company's continuous improvement programs. Both machines were either built or distributed and serviced by fellow Wisconsin technology suppliers.
