SACRAMENTO, Calif., Jan. 25 -- TagStream Inc. today announced a strategic partnership with eSkye Solutions®, the leading provider of software and services for over 200 of the world's leading wineries, brand owners, distributors and retailers. The companies are collaborating to provide winemakers with state-of-the-art barrel and blend tracking systems that utilize the latest technology to provide quantifiable cost savings and increased product quality.
As a result of the strategic partnership, TagStream today announced (see separate release) Barrel Trak(TM) for eSkye's Blend(TM), a new version of its Barrel Trak software that provides a seamless interface between the Barrel Trak system and eSkye Solutions' Blend Suite(TM), the industry's leading grape-to-bottle wine production solution. During development, eSkye and TagStream shared customer insights and eSkye provided technical guidance to ensure that the two products are closely integrated.
Barrel Trak is an advanced process data management system that brings real time, read/write data tracking and process history to the winemaking process. It uses an innovative system of radio frequency identification (RFID) tags, wireless data scanners, unique communications software and proprietary software that integrates with third-party process control databases such as eSkye Blend Suite, as well as proprietary and commercial databases including Oracle, SAP, Microsoft SQL Server and others.
