TYZX 3D camera technology key component of new gesture-based WAVEscape system that immerses viewers into consumer branding and advertising

MENLO PARK, Calif., Jan. 7 - TYZX, the 3D vision technology company, today announced it has partnered with Reactrix, a leading interactive digital media company, as part of the new revolutionary interactive large-format advertising system -- Reactrix WAVEscape(TM). Reactrix WAVEscape will debut at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, January 7-10.

Reactrix' immersive interactive technology featured on commercial LCD displays creates an entirely new form of engaging advertising experience. The high-performance TYZX DeepSea(TM) embedded 3D camera is a key component in the Reactrix WAVEscape system, which responds instantly to viewer gestures, resulting in an unforgettable, "hands-on" advertisement. Reactrix expects to roll out the WAVEscape platform at select Hilton Hotels in mid-2008.

In the TYZX DeepSea system, 3D images are created by comparing images from two conventional CMOS imagers and calculating the precise distance to each pixel in the image. TYZX' custom ASIC and embedded system technology is the only way to meet the real-time performance demands that make interactive applications such Reactrix WAVEscape possible.

"TYZX's 3D vision products played a key role in bringing the Reactrix WAVEscape product to market," said Michael Ribero, CEO of Reactrix. "As traditional forms of advertising become more fragmented and less effective at maintaining the attention of consumers, Reactrix' revolutionary interactive advertising networks provides a compelling way for leading brands to connect with consumers."

TYZX 3D vision technology is enabling a wide range of interactive applications, including autonomous robots, vehicle safety systems, person tracking for security, gesture-based gaming and more.

"Reactrix real-time 3D gesture tracking is creating entirely new forms of immersive advertising that are truly changing the industry and are a harbinger of consumer products to come," said Ron Buck, CEO of TYZX. "We're pleased to be working with Reactrix WAVEscape and their interactive advertising platform and we look forward to partnering with Reactrix on other new applications."
