All timely subject matter and topics relevant to thermoset industry will be considered from the following market perspectives: Adhesives and Sealants; Coatings, Civil Engineering, Flooring; Composites and Tooling; and Potting, Encapsulation, Electrical. Academic papers and papers on non-epoxy applications or green technology are of particular interest.

Glen Ellyn, IL -- The Thermoset Resin Formulators Association (TRFA) invites the submission of Technical Papers for presentation at the association's 2013 Annual Meeting, September 29 - October 1 at the Hyatt Regency Newport in Newport, Rhode Island.
Technical Paper presentations are essential to meeting one of the association's key objectives, which is to be "the premier forum to interact and exchange knowledge among formulators and suppliers." All timely subject matter and topics relevant to the thermoset industry will be considered from the following market perspectives: Adhesives and Sealants; Coatings, Civil Engineering, Flooring; Composites and Tooling; and Potting, Encapsulation, Electrical. Academic papers and papers on non-epoxy applications or green technology are of particular interest. Technical papers must be non-commercial in nature. Persons interested in submitting a Technical Paper for consideration should submit an abstract submission form to info@trfa.org as soon as possible but not later than February 28th. Selected presenters will be notified by the end of May, 2013. Technical Papers are chosen based on their technical content, the timeliness of the subject, and relevance to TRFA members and the industry. Contact info@trfa.org for an Abstract Submission Form.
In addition to technical presentations, TRFA's 2013 Annual Meeting schedule will include the meetings of its Market Focused Committees, a Regulatory Affairs Update, a Tabletop Showcase, a General Business Session, and the presentation of the association’s “Excellence in Thermoset Polymer Research Award,” as well as unmatched opportunities for informal networking with industry peers.
TRFA is comprised of thermoset formulators, raw material suppliers, distributors, equipment manufacturers, manufacturer sales representatives of materials or equipment, importers of raw materials or processing or other equipment, consulting firms and academic institutions serving industries which include adhesives, coatings, civil engineering applications, electrical laminates, composites, tooling, castings and moldings.
