Elk Grove Village, IL... To meet the customer demands of a recovering domestic and expanding Asian market, Transor Filter USA has announced an aggressive expansion program. According to Transor President Irv Kaage, "Our business continues to grow and new opportunities have led us to build larger centralized systems that have resulted in expanding our assembly facilities and staff."
Transor has expanded their facility in Elk Grove Village with an additional 10,000 square feet. Kaage mentioned that this has allowed for a complete re-organization of their assembly operations in order to improve efficiencies and reduce delivery times for increased production.
Sune Backman, Transor VP, recently announced the production of the largest single tank filter the company has produced. Modular in design, the new unit contains 21 filter vessels that can satisfy the needs of 20 tool/cutter grinders. The design is the direct result of responding to several customers' needs. The first of several Model V21's have already shipped to customer sites around the world.
Irv Kaage also announced the addition of Nick Renello as Project Manager. Mr. Renello will provide increased support and documentation for Transor's global customers. This will include CAD drawings, purchasing and tracking of components needed for assembly and R&D.
