Tel Aviv, Israel - August 18, 2010 -Top Image Systems, Ltd. (NASDAQ: TISA; TASE: TISA), the leading ECM (Enterprise Content Management) innovator of intelligent document recognition strengthens its leadership in the invoice processing market with a new independent report by BARC (Business Application Research Center), a leading independent software industry analyst.
BARC was founded in 1994 as a spin-off from the University of Würzburg's Chair for Information Science, Germany. The institute offers neutral and substantiated surveys and market analyses in the field of business intelligence and enterprise content management (ECM).
BARC's report described and evaluated solutions for classification, data extraction, distribution, and processing. The aspects of architecture, integration, and reporting were also analyzed in detail and reviewed for efficiency and performance. A criteria catalog was developed for this purpose from the functional and technical requirements for an input management solution. This formed the basis for the assessment of the solutions tested from an application perspective. TIS' invoice processing solution, eFLOW Ability, facilitates automated processing of incoming invoices for ERP systems, including SAP. In its new software evaluation for processing invoices and incoming mail, BARC institute analyzed eFLOW with respect to innovation, functionality, architecture, and service, and compared eFLOW to all other well-known solutions.
