PALO ALTO, Calif., June 6 -- TIBCO Software Inc. (NASDAQ:TIBX) today announced that it has completed its acquisition of Spotfire Holdings, Inc., a privately held software company headquartered in Somerville, Mass. with more than 200 employees. With the completion of this transaction, Spotfire will operate as a division within TIBCO.
The Spotfire acquisition is a natural extension of TIBCO's Predictive Business strategy, by offering customers next-generation business intelligence solutions for radically faster data access and delivery.
