Second consecutive year company is recognized for its commitment to energy efficiency
Aurora, OH - For the second year in a row, TCP, Inc. is awarded the ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year for Lighting Product Manufacturers by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Energy (DOE). The company is recognized for its outstanding contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by manufacturing energy efficient lighting products, including compact fluorescent (CFL) and LED lamps for residential, commercial and industrial applications. The award also acknowledges TCP's work to educate consumers about the energy saving benefits associated with using energy efficient lighting products.

"TCP is producing and promoting products that have earned the ENERGY STAR, showing customers that together, we can increase our nation's energy efficiency and reduce our emissions of greenhouse gases."
As an ENERGY STAR partner since 1999, TCP continues to be the first to market new innovations that are revolutionizing the energy efficient lighting industry. In 2009, TCP introduced the industry's fastest-starting covered CFL with its patented InstaBright G2 Technology to provide full brightness in seconds.
