Offering recycling bins in public areas is one of the best ways for a property to demonstrate its green initiatives. However, most properties have been at a loss to find recycling bins that reflect the upscale design of their lobbies and meeting spaces.
T2 Site Amenities has resolved this issue by offering a "critical mass" of upscale recycling bins from the widest range of materials including fine woods, resin panels, stainless steel, fiberglass and much more.

T2 Site Amenities was started in 2007 by Lori & Steve Tilkin. They saw the hotel industry going green. However manufacturers and distributors were not offering products the industry sought. Blue plastic was simply not an option in hotel lobbies and meeting spaces.
As a result, Lori & Steve networked with key manufacturers to help create such upscale recycling bins as seen in the photos above.
Stated Lori Tilkin, "we now have relationships with over 25 top North American manufacturers covering such product categories as trash/recycling bins, planters, benches, pool towel receptacles and bike racks".
Steve Tilkin added, "Our customers do not have the time or resources to investigate all of the recycling options. And so we make it easier for them to make a great decision fast, by offering the widest selection of products and materials."
T2's customers include the top players in the hotel industry including Starwood Hotels, Hyatt, Marriott, Intercontinental Hotel Group, and Hilton.
Lori Tilkin stated, "offering public space and guest room recycling bins is an excellent means to attract the meeting business. Meeting planners often consider a hotel's recycling initiatives as one of the criteria for choosing a venue. And so recycling bins become an investment to attract new business".
