New Wireless Thermo Recorder Makes Temperature & Humidity Management Easy

CHESTERLAND, OH - CAS DataLoggers and T&D are proud to jointly announce the release of the new Wireless Thermo Recorder "log-EZ" as an effective low-cost solution for temperature and humidity management. The "log-EZ" is designed as a user-friendly Thermo Recorder to easily measure and record ambient temperature and humidity within ranges of 0° to 50° Celsius (32° to 122° Fahrenheit) and 15% to 90% RH respectively. The logger features a clear display of its current readings and can also use a PC to show a continually changing graph and the day's high and low readings.

The recorder's no-hassle design enables its use in a broad variety of applications in both homes and office buildings. The unit supports wireless communication expands to 160 ft in range when unobstructed. The "log EZ" can also be configured to automatically download its recorded data to a remotely located PC at a set time of day. Communication range can be extended even further by using the log-EZ as a Repeater (up to 16 units may be connected in this form).

Adding to its ease of operation, the logger's wireless communication makes data transmission quick and simple with no need for cables or for gathering the log-EZ units to collect their data. They're also low-maintenance utilizing one AA alkaline battery powers the logger for approximately six months of activation. Logging capacity is maximized to 1,440 readings or about 10 days of readings at 10-minute recording intervals.

This lightweight logger is already finding frequent use for monitoring heating and cooling in both residential and business applications. The log-EZ has also played an important role in providing information in managing temperature and humidity in more specific areas such as wine production and storage. It's a solution that combines affordability with accessibility in a novel new size.
