System provides higher data transfer speeds while maintaining backward compatibility
Hartmann Electronic, the specialist in system platforms and backplane technology, announces a new 4U VPX rack mount chassis. Compliant with the new 46.0 baseline specification, the system comes standard with a 3U 8 slot backplane (3x VME and 5x VPX), and supports VITA 46.4 PCI-Express and 46.1 Rear Transition Module. The systems provides full mesh x4 configuration for PCI Express. Power to the unit is supplied via a 300 W Industrial PS2 power supply unit, with fan/switch, cable harness, and front panel. Forced air cooling is supplied with 3 DC fans mounted on bottom, 108 CFM/42.5dB (A). Chassis compliant according to IEEE 1101.1, 1101.10/11. Unit comes fully assembled, wired, and tested, and is available for immediate delivery.
