SANTA CLARA, Calif., Synaptics Inc. An Ultrabook notebook combines the functionality and features of a tablet in a thin, lightweight, powerful design based on a reference specification from Intel. The industry-leading ClickPad(TM), including Image Sensing technology that detects multiple fingers, supports large TouchPad surface areas that are ideal for precise navigation and sophisticated gesture recognition. As the industry leader in human interface technology, augmented by its co-engineering partnership with Microsoft for Windows 8, Synaptics will continue to drive the evolution of the Ultrabook category as touch becomes a more prominent feature in more powerful, portable notebook PCs.
