Users will now be able to quickly download sales drawings along with previously available 2-D and 3-D CAD templates via either site. "Today, these drawings are immediately available to customers over the Web. Sales drawings are valuable to engineers for accuracy and documentation; quick access to the drawings will make it easier for them to complete their designs."

Users still search for products via a direct ordering number, or by searching through product categories, until the needed product is reached. But now, once the product is located, the Web site user can download a sales drawing directly.

For instance, a designer who needs a 3-D CAD template to embed into a product or system model can now use the 2-D sales drawing to confirm his or her order and the receipt of the correct item.
