Winfield, Kan. ¨C Webster Engineering and Manufacturing announced that Superior Boiler Works (Hutchinson, KS) has received certification from Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and its affiliate Underwriters Laboratories of Canada (ULC) on one of its packaged boiler systems. UL and ULC are independent safety certification organizations that test products and write standards for industry safety.
Superior earned certification for its: 2 Pass Dryback Apache series boilers in standard sizes from 80©200 horsepower, steam and hot water, and high-and low-pressure models, using Webster Engineering JB series burners firing gas only, gas and oil, or oil only.
