Toronto, Canada - GAO Tek Inc. (www.GAOTek.com) recommends its handheld super signal level meter which is widely used and favored by professionals in the CATV industry. It accurately tests digital TV channel power, analog channels, digital channels (QAM) and FM channels efficiently and provides amplitude measurement at a specific frequency or any carrier defined by the user. It also performs C/N measurement, spectrum analysis, auto testing, data logging and return path measurement.
This super signal level meter, model 1151B, operates within a broad frequency range of 46MHz to 870MHz or 5MHz to 870MHz. It is able to conduct FCC standard limit testing and transmission and reflection characteristic testing. It also verifies proper signal level of any channel. The peak-hold level measurement function in both LEVEL and SPECTRUM modes makes it possible to detect the occasional fluctuation efficiently. This meter offers an interface to communicate with a computer or printer. It is powered by a battery with a fast charging function providing a maximum operating time of 8h at a full charge. All of these capabilities make the signal level meter an ideal tool for signal level measurement and spectrum analysis.
