SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 18 -- SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ:SPWR), a Silicon Valley-based manufacturer of the world's highest- efficiency, commercially available solar cells and solar panels, today announced that its CEO, Thomas Werner, will deliver a keynote presentation at the annual Clean-Tech Investor Summit on January 24, 2007, at 3:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. The event is being held at the Renaissance Esmeralda in Palm Springs, Calif. Werner's keynote will be simultaneously webcast on SunPower's web site at http://investors.sunpowercorp.com/events.cfm

Werner will speak about the company's approach to value chain optimization, its recent merger with PowerLight Corp. and SunPower's overall business development strategies.
