Mount Prospect, IL - (July 12, 2007) Sumitomo Electric Carbide, Inc. announces the acquisition of Master Tool LLC. Finalized on June 29, 2007, the deal establishes Sumitomo as the majority owner.
Master Tool LLC, located in Grand River, OH, is a designer and builder of custom, inserted cutting tools. Their area of expertise is the development of custom tooling to machine critical features on engine blocks, cylinder heads, connecting rods, crank shafts, transmission cases and various other automotive parts.
