(Bristol, VA) Strongwell Corporation, headquartered in Bristol, Virginia, has announced that Tracy Wright has been hired as Director, Virginia Manufacturing Operations, reporting to the President and CEO, David Oakley. Tracy will be responsible for leadership of all manufacturing and shipping operations for the company's two Virginia manufacturing facilities: Bristol and Abingdon (Highlands). He will also assume responsibility for the material control, process engineering, tooling/die, and maintenance functions for both facilities. Tracy comes to Strongwell with over 23 years of experience in manufacturing operations. He has a broad range of experience in production processes, production planning, quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, strategic planning, and all facets of operations management. Tracy comes to Strongwell from Hapco Pole Products, where he was Director of Operations. He holds an Associate's Degree in General Engineering Technology from Virginia Highlands Community College in Abingdon, Virginia and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee.
