"Next week, we're looking forward to showing how many of today's leading companies are using our platform to deliver end-to-end rich media services to consumers."

At 3GSM, Streamezzo will showcase the following demonstrations in Hall 7, Stand C28:

Mobile TV Applications:

SAGEM: has developed the first ever DVB-H phone that includes integrated mobile TV service, which has been designed and developed with Stremezzo's Rich Media technology. This service is based on Streamezzo's Rich Media technology for video rendering and the common presentation of the EPG, as well as Alcatel's application server and back end technology to allow multicast convergence on a single video player and a common guide. This mobile TV, rich media client will be launched on T-Mobile Java phones, and will include the Player and other Mobile TV capabilities, such as EPG, a purchasing service, parental control, and other services.

TDF: has developed a prototype of a broadcasting Mobile TV service that combines the Streamezzo Rich Media client with the TDF/Real Networks platform. This prototype enables users to watch live TV channels and Video-On-Demand clips from Disney TV, MTV Euronews and Onza o.

Qualcomm: has integrated the Stremezzo platform into a Brew telephone to deliver an on-demand portal for Mobile TV, Video and news.

Vpod.TV: will unveil the world premiere of a user-generated content Rich Media service (mobile 2.0) that enables any mobile user to view WebTV channels from a mobile phone. This service also enables users to upload mobile-made video content using the phone camera, and publish associated comments on the video.

KAMAYO: will demonstrate how Streamezzo can deliver "White-label Mobile TV Services" in terms of design, user interactivity and feature sets, by addressing all the needs of a Mobile TV Service, including: Electronic Service Guides, Electronic Program Guides, Interactive Player with voting capabilities; Fast Switching; Fast Playlist browsing; and multiple channel viewing & listening. This demonstration integrates ATOMIZ technology with Streamezzo's Rich Media technology.

Music and Entertainment Applications:

CROMEO Mini-Site: has created a Rich Media service featuring a complete artist promotion mobile service, which helps fans stay informed about tour dates, and the latest news regarding their favourite artists. This service also enables users to listen to audio tracks and video clips. It demonstrates how to integrate mobile services into a complete marketing program, by proposing games in order to win prizes, and community services, such as chat and viral marketing campaigns with 'send-to-friend' features.

Music Player: This prototype explains how to drastically improve the ergonomics of a Music service with a Rich Media User Interface when thinking of the mobile device as a Music Player. Within the same application, the customer will be able to browse the online music catalog, purchase and download audio tracks, and build play-lists in the music player. This prototype illustrates how a seamless user experience leads to a better user perception, and increased revenues.

Device Portal Services:

M-star.Next-G Portal: provides a live Rich Media ODP with outstanding browsing & interactivity on mobiles, enabling users to discover a complete range of content through: daily news information, horoscopes, thematic storefronts for media downloads (logos, ring-tones, wallpapers, videos), social networking, interactive Mobile TV, Mobile Music, and advertisement activities. Next-G ODP is available on 16 different Java & Symbian devices, and has been available in Indonesia since December 2006. Upcoming versions of Next-G will be extended with user-generated content services.

AFP News Portal (Agence France Presse): has developed a prototype portal that allows mobile users to read the latest world news in real time and browse related photos and videos on demand. Advertisements are also introduced in the service to deliver opt-in branded messages. The ODP is managed with Streamezzo's management platform and delivered in French and English to mobile users.

The Streamezzo Management Platform:

Streamezzo's Software Suite integrates a newly-announced component to manage media content and operate the end-to-end rich media services created with Streamezzo Rich Media technology. During 3GSM, Streamezzo will demonstrate the key modules of this new management platform, which include: content ingestion to upload and organize multimedia contents; content management to publish news information; reporting and statistics to learn customer usage patterns; and an advertising module to push opt-in and personalized ads to customers. Streamezzo will demonstrate how this management platform modifies live Rich Media services in real time. Customization, skinning, and branding options of the Rich Media service will be also demonstrated, to clearly show customers how to adapt these services to their companies, and reduce time-to-market.
