Espelkamp, 02.03.2011 --- This year's international Management Meeting (IMM) of the HARTING Technology Group once again offered attendees a highly interesting range of topics and a varied social program. This annual event is the occasion for company managing directors from all over the world to meet their German colleagues at the Espelkamp headquarters. Led by Philip Harting, Senior Vice President Connectivity & Networks, the meeting offers participants the chance to exchange ideas on international market and Company development and find out about new technologies.
The event ran for over a week, and offered a varied weekend program, including a chance for our international guests to visit Dr. Oetker World in Bielefeld. They were particularly impressed that this family business, so important at international level, is also based in East Westphalia. On Sunday, the group went on a trip to Lake Dümmer. The final day of the international management meeting was devoted to issues of Corporate and Social Responsibility. Currently widely discussed at national and international level, this topic has long been accorded major importance in the HARTING Technology Group: responsible behavior that takes account of the effects of business decisions on people and the environment and aims for sustainability in this context.
