Stock Car Steel and Aluminum and SRI Announce Partnership with Classified Site Racingjunk.com

Most of what is sold on Racingjunk.com is hardly junk. In fact, most of the products listed on the ever-growing racing-classifieds website are rarely under a couple hundred dollars. What started out as an online outlet for racing and automotive enthusiasts to buy, sell, and trade their used racing parts has become the largest and most diverse racer-centric site on the internet. Companies such as Stock Car Steel and Aluminum, Inc. (SCSA) and SRI-Supplies for Racing and Industry are finding that Racingjunk.com is the "shot in the arm" that their e-commerce needs in order to reach the broadest range of racers and automotive enthusiasts.

After some time of converting product listings from www.stockcarsteel.com and www.sri-supplies.com into Racingjunk.com classified ads, SCSA and SRI are glad to announce that they are official "Racingjunkies" like the 2.8 million visitors that visit the site each month. And unlike the past when Racingjunk was in its infancy, the companies are selling 100% new products with competitive pricing.

Visitors to the stockcarsteelSRI storefront (http://www.racingjunk.com/dealers/stockcarsteelSRI) can browse through 50 listings of SCSA and SRI products such as metals, plastics, abrasives, adhesives, paint, body shop supplies, and fasteners.

Both SCSA and SRI are based in Mooresville, North Carolina and are owned by Greg Fornelli, who saw a need for a local distributor to provide the aforementioned products to the NASCAR teams that surround the greater Charlotte, NC area. While business is doing well, the companies have expanded to the internet over the past couple years in order to reach buyers all over the country.

"We have a lot to do with NASCAR, but we have a lot to offer the local racers, too," says Fornelli. "We've been sending our guys to all different types of tracks to try to get in touch with the grassroots racers, but we can only do that so much. If I send my guys to the dirt races, we're missing out on the asphalt guys that weekend. With Racingjunk.com, we can talk to everyone at once. It doesn't matter what they race. They need metal, they need nuts and bolts, and we have all of that stuff."

With most of the SCSA/SRI products being listed in the newly-modified "Bodywork, Metal, and Fabrication" category on Racingjunk.com, routine visitors can look forward to seeing these new types of products on their beloved classified website.
The more Fornelli and his team talk about the Racingjunk program, the more optimistic they get. "I feel like Racingjunk.com is more complete with our types of products on there. It's just a natural fit and we're pumped about it!"
