Stewart Williams, PhD Appointed Technical Director of The Rohm and Haas Paint Quality Institute
Spring House, PA, September 7, 2006- Stewart Williams, PhD, recently named Technical Director of the Rohm and Haas Paint Quality Institute (PQI), will develop and manage PQI's technical initiatives, including material for the training of painting contractors and paint sales personnel, PQI website content, paint specifier seminars, and other initiatives in support of quality painting.
Dr. Williams joined Rohm and Haas in 1989 as an applications scientist for the company's coatings business. Since then, he has served in major roles in technical management, analytical research, market development, and global product management. Dr. Williams has extensive experience in developing innovative technical solutions for metal coatings, traffic markings, specialty primers, solution polymers, opaque polymers, pigment dispersants, and rheology modifiers.
