Press release date: April 16, 2009

Belding, MICHIGAN - Stahlin Non-Metallic Enclosures, manufacturer of the world's most frequently specified fiberglass enclosure products, has been chosen as one of "West Michigan's 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For" by Michigan's Business & Professional Association in 2009.The 101 Best and Brightest awards are presented by the Michigan Business & Professional Association (MBPA) and recognize companies for strategies they use to create the best human resource practices for their employees.

"Stahlin is proud to have been selected for this honor for the sixth year in a row," states Jeff Seagle, President of Stahlin. "Stahlin as a company continues to grow in many positive ways and winning this award for the sixth time proves how our associates help Stahlin remain a company that continues to be recognized by the MBPA."

The process for determining the 101 best is three fold: first, companies are nominated by individuals; second, the human resources manager of each nominated company is contacted and asked to complete an extensive survey; third, the company's employees are randomly selected to complete an extensive survey about their work environment. An independent market research firm employed by the Michigan's Business & Professional Association examines each application statistically for both quantitative and qualitative data which is then submitted to the panel of judges. The data includes information on the company's achievements in all of these areas:Communication,Community Initiatives, Compensation and Benefits, Diversity and Multi-Culturalism, Employee Education and Development ,Employee Engagement and Commitment, Recognition and Retention ,Recruitment and Selection and Work-Life Balance. Those with the highest points are selected as winners.
