Press release date: July 16, 2008
Automatic spring separator efficiently separates springs by centrifugal force without the use of air, magnets, ect. Units with diameters up to 1 1/4" and lengths to 2" can be processed which makes semiautomatic or fully automatic spring handling possible.
Until now assembly machines output has been controlled by the operator, separating and loading springs manually. The standard separator can be used as an operator assist machine, discharging separated springs onto tack boards, conveyors ect.
Complete combination systems including vibratory feeders also are available. These systems eject tangle springs into the separator, returning seperate springs back into the feeder bowl. Tooled feeder can be supplied to feed from one to six lines of separated springs to automatic assembly machines, spring grinders etc..
