CHARLOTTE, N.C. --- Spiroflow Systems, Inc. proudly announces the addition of Jeff Karigan, Italo Cardin and Justin Moody to its sales team.
Located in the Charlotte, North Carolina area since 1991, Spiroflow is a worldwide leading supplier of standard and custom powder handling equipment. The company specializes in Bulk Bag Dischargers and Fillers, Mechanical, Flexible and Pneumatic Conveyors and Bag Packaging Equipment.
Jeff Karigan comes to Spiroflow as the new West Coast Regional Sales Manager and brings nearly 30 years of sales experience in the dry bulk material handling, plastic compounding and electrical industries.
As a manufacturers rep, Karigan represented and successfully sold material handling equipment for more than 13 years. He brings in depth product knowledge of feeders, pneumatic systems, specialty valves, samplers, bucket elevators, bulk bag handling systems, dust collectors and more.
He is also well versed in the electrical and plastic compounding industries. Prior to his tenure as a manufacturers rep Jeff was a US based sales manager for Berstorff Corporation (twin screw compounding extruders and plastic processing systems). He honed his sales, technical and management skills at Berstorff for 15 years. Karigan initially launched his career as a Journeyman Electrician with 7 years experience in commercial and industrial power installations, plant wide lighting, underground and outdoor lighting systems and residential wiring.
Karigan will have a vast territory that covers Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, parts of Wisconsin, Indiana, Missouri, Illinois, Virginia, Alaska and British Columbia, Canada.
Italo Cardin, Spiroflow's new Latin American Exports Manager, brings nearly 30 years experience in the machinery industry, where he has worked since 1983. At Spiroflow, Cardin will support the growing network of Latin American sales reps.
A graduate of Polytechnic University Guayaquil, Ecuador, Cardin received his degree in mechanical engineering. From 1980 to 1986 he worked at Centro Electromecánico C.A. in Ecuador. Until 2002, Cardin worked in the sales and installations department for the Carrier Corporation as a countries rep and distributor.
Cardin has also worked installing General Electric industrial equipment.
Justin Moody is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is serving as the Sales Engineer with Spiroflow.
As Sales Engineer, Moody will prepare quotes based on Spiroflow's range of equipment to meet customer's specific needs. He will customize equipment to fit specific requirements and will serve as a liaison between the sales and engineering departments.
