New VectraES Wave Soldering System Speedline's VectraES wave soldering system is the latest addition to Electrovert's wave soldering systems product line as it joins the industry recognized VectraElite(TM) and Electra(TM) platforms. With its exceptional system-wide accessibility, advanced control system, and innovative sub-system technologies designed for today's lead-free environment, the VectraES will soon become the wave soldering system of choice for low to medium production environments, and stands for Speedline's continued commitment to the traditional in-line wave solder market. The VectraES provides an ideal balance between system performance, functionality, and low cost of ownership.
New ServoSpray Fluxing System ServoSpray from Speedline Electrovert complements the company's spray fluxer product lineup, the industry's most comprehensive offering. This servo-controlled reciprocating spray fluxing system will feature an air atomized spray head, pressure tank flux supply system, self-cleaning nozzle capability, and the ability to spray in one or both directions via recipe control. The system provides Speedline Electrovert customers with a cost effective method of applying flux as it delivers positive hole penetration and spray uniformity for a wide range of fluxes at a competitive price.

SpeedVision(TM)-- New High Speed Inspection for Accela Stencil Printer
Speedline will launch several exciting new options for the award-winning MPM Accela printing system at ATExpo, designed for manufacturers requiring high volume throughput with high yield performance.
SpeedVision(TM) is a new high-speed inspection option capable of performing full 2D inspection of either or both the substrate and the stencil at line speed. The technologies employed are contrast and Speedline's patented texture based algorithms for image processing and quantification, and three new patent-pending methods for increasing the speed of printer-based inspection by an order of magnitude, enabling line-rate complete inspection.
A new option for process setup verification and traceability utilizing bar code reading capability and enhancements in the machine software will also be launched. This has been sought by manufacturers in numerous market segments for ensuring and documenting process quality for either high reliability applications or to satisfy RoHS compliance methods. With the option, Speedline will be able to demonstrate this method of data management down to the board (within the panel) level in the printer.
Using these new options, along with other new features and options in development for the Accela, customers can further utilize the performance offered by this powerful system. These capabilities build on the other patented technologies employed in the Accela to offer customers the opportunity to further enhance their process.
