Feed Perfect has been in development for 18 months and was funded in part by Ben Franklin Technology Partners of PA. Feed Perfect is original proprietary software which will monitor and help to manage the Comparison Shopping Engine advertising campaigns of e-commerce web sites. Comparison Shopping Engine advertising is increasingly popular but increasingly expensive, especially for small businesses. Feed Perfect levels the e-commerce playing field.
In simple terms, when you visit a shopping engine online looking for a product, the shopping engine will give you a series of links for companies selling what you seek. Every time you the shopper "click" on one of those links to an Internet site, the company you visit is charged "per click" by the shopping engine for connecting you with that potential seller.
If they visit and buy, the web site pays. If they visit and DON'T buy, the web site still pays. So it is important for e-commerce owners to monitor which products are selling and which aren't so they can take the non-selling items off the list and not have to pay for results they aren't getting. The problem is, if an e-commerce store has hundreds (or thousands) of products listed on multiple shopping engines it can be incredibly time-consuming to monitor all of those activities. Many large companies pay thousands a month for this monitoring service.
Solid Cactus has spent 18 months developing software which will do the same thing -- for about a hundred dollars per month. This is a breakthrough for Solid Cactus as the company continues to evolve and develop into a total solutions e-commerce provider.
