Solar Industry Showing Recovery with Rapid Increase in Firing Furnace Sales

Minneapolis, Minn., U.S.A. – As the solar industry begins recovering; manufacturers are again turning to Despatch Industries, a leading technology and equipment provider. At several first in fab production testing environments, the Safire Firing Furnace with Dri-Tech Dryer was able to achieve a 0.1 percent absolute improvement in overall efficiency on a baseline product. Additional Safire benefits achieved during testing include reducing wafer scrap by close to one percent absolute and reducing low efficiency cells by four percent absolute.
