Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Issues Call for Papers for 'Eurotec(TM)' Conference to Take Place in Fall of 2011 in Spain



NEWTOWN, CT, U.S.A., September 1, 2009: The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) is recruiting speakers to present papers at the Society's first EUROTEC(TM), a wide-ranging plastics technical conference designed as a European counterpart to SPE's renowned ANTEC® in North America. SPE EUROTEC will take place October 3-7, 2011 in Barcelona.

SPE is soliciting original papers in the following areas: Automotive & Transportation; Engineering Properties and Structure; Extrusion for Flexible & Rigid Packaging; Failure Analysis; Medical Plastics; Mould Design & Rapid Tooling; and Plastics & the Environment.

The conference will be conducted in English with simultaneous translation available.

Prospective presenters should provide a 100-word abstract by June 1, 2010. Abstracts can be submitted online at 4spe.org/spe-eurotec-conference. The deadline for submitting a 5- to 6-page technical paper is January 2, 2011. Presentations should be 30 minutes long. The papers will be published in the conference proceedings and in SPE's online technical library.
