MARIETTA, OH-Skuttle Indoor Air Quality Products has made two significant changes to its three, high-efficiency media air cleaners-Models DB-25-20, DB-20-20 and DB-25-16. The first modification elevates the air cleaners' outward appearance; the second maximizes their ease and speed of installation.
Enhanced Appearance Designed to dress up any installation, Skuttle has replaced its galvanized steel air cleaner door with a tough, injection-molded thermoplastic door that sports a "racy" S-curve. The door snaps on and off easily, yet fits snugly.
An additional new feature that customers will welcome is a six-month reminder dial. Built into the new door assembly, the dial reminds homeowners when it's time to check the filter media for possible replacement. The dial should be set to the month new media is installed in the frame (e.g., September); it will then visually remind the homeowner six months later (e.g., March) that the media needs to be checked and possibly replaced. Easier Installation For faster, easier installation, Skuttle has added pre-punched access and drill holes to the frames of all three air cleaner models.
