PLYMOUTH, Mich., April 16, 2007 - Showcasing a variety of sealing solutions that can be tailored for precise specifications, Simrit - the industrial sealing products division of Freudenberg-NOK - has published a Profile Seals Catalog specifically for aerospace customers.
The new comprehensive product profile guide was created as a reference for aerospace engineers to help them better understand and utilize Simrit's extensive products and capabilities. All of the catalog's profile seal concepts can be produced in a variety of manufacturing methods and incorporate various substrates, which can be spliced together to form complete sealing solutions. The applications for these seals are numerous and can be found in everything from abrasive aerodynamic environments to areas where the seal is required to be fireproof.
