Simrit Names Coggins as Semiconductor Territory Manager


SAN FRANCISCO, July 11, 2006 - Simrit, the industrial sealing products division of Freudenberg-NOK, has named Craig Coggins as semiconductor territory manager for the Southwest region. The announcement was made by Vinay Nilkanth, vice president of business development for Simrit, during SEMICON West 2006.

"Craig brings an extensive technical, sales and management background to this position and we are ecstatic to have him join the Simrit team," Nilkanth said. "Simrit's continued success depends on strong individuals, like Craig, to help us continually expand and grow our world-class products and materials in our target markets."

In his new position, Coggins will be responsible for managing Simrit's semiconductor product sales in the Southwest territory. Additionally, he will assist in supporting and promoting semiconductor customers outside of this territory for Simrit's Eagle Industry Co., Ltd. product lines.

Most recently, he served as territory account manager for Kanto Corporation of Portland, Ore., where he worked with process and integration engineers to qualify and specify chemical products and equipment for semiconductor customers in the southeast. Prior to this, Coggins, as the national sales manager for Santa Clara, Calif.-based Valqua America, Inc., set up a sales and stocking facility for the manufacturer of elastomer seals, plastics, welded edge bellows and electronic sub-components

From 1995 to 2000, Coggins served as the southwest territory manager for Greene, Tweed & Co. of Kulpsville, Pa., where he worked directly with the engineering department to initiate testing programs to attain specification for elastomer seals and plastic products for the semiconductor market.

Coggins earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Texas State University in San Marcos.
