Philadelphia, Pa. - Stockwell Elastomerics announces the availability of Silicone Sponge and Silicone Foam Gasket Tape with adhesive backing on one side and wound up into master rolls of 15 feet to 30 feet long depending on the thickness of the material.
The pre-made master rolls enable fast-turn production of slit-to-width rolls to support needs for high performance silicone sponge and silicone foam gasketing that must withstand outdoor conditions and temperature extremes.
The most frequently specified Gasket Tape roll widths are .500", .750", 1.00" and 2.00" wide - however any width over .375" is available promptly in custom slit rolls. Strip-N-Stick® 200A is closed cell silicone sponge rubber with high strength acrylic transfer film adhesive. Strip-N-Stick 200A is available in .062", .125", .188" and .250" thick - and mainly specified by designers of enclosures and ventilation systems requiring UV resistance, weatherproofing and long service life. The high strength acrylic transfer film adhesive used on Strip-N-Stick 200A will bond to most surfaces including powder coat finishes - a sample roll can be provided to confirm compatibility.
Strip-N-Stick 100S is a closed cell silicone sponge rubber with silicone transfer film adhesive to maintain bonding properties in extreme temperatures. Strip-N-Stick 100S is available in .062", .125" and .188" thick - specified by designers of laboratory equipment and test chambers requiring performance down to -100°F and ovens requiring performance up to 500°F.
HT-800 Gasket Tape is closed cell silicone foam with high tack, film supported acrylic adhesive which provides non-stretch dimensional stability. HT-800 Gasket Tape is available in .062", .125", .188" and .250" thick - specified by designers of telecommunications cabinets, air handling and outdoor enclosures where UL94V0 flame ratings, incidental moisture and UL50E periodic recompression performance is needed.
HT-800 Gasket Tape is stocked in gray silicone foam, however it can also be provided in black silicone foam.
400FR Gasket Tape is flame retardant closed cell silicone sponge with high strength acrylic transfer film adhesive. 400FR Gasket Tape is presently available in .125"and .250" thick - and mainly specified by designers of enclosures and ventilation systems requiring a durable closed cell silicone sponge with UL94V0 flame rating with UV resistance, weatherproofing and long service life.
Each of the Gasket Tape products can be die cut or water jet cut into custom gaskets if slit-to-width roll materials are not suitable for a sealing requirement. Stockwell Elastomerics' core competence is the fabrication and molding of silicone rubber and similar high performance elastomers. Their on-site capabilities include adhesive lamination, slitting, die cutting, water jet cutting and custom molding. Many of Stockwell's customers take advantage of water jet cutting for fast turn prototypes and initial production.
