Shuping Yan, Laboratory Manager for the Food Division Completes the Requirements for Her PhD

Dr. Yan has brought many years of significant experience and expertise in cereal chemistry, food testing and new food product development to C.W. Brabender® Instruments, Inc. Her higher educational background began with a B.S. in Grain and Oil Storage at Henan University of Technology (formerly Zhengzhou Grain College) in China. She achieved her M.S. in Grain Science and Industry from Kansas State University and has completed her PhD in Biological and Agricultural Engineering this month at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS.
Dr. Shuping Yan is responsible for maintaining the C.W. Brabender® Food Laboratory while conducting research on our extensive line of laboratory scale food testing instruments. She is responsible for publishing papers on her new research findings as well as handling all customer technical inquiries in support of our food instrument product line for the North American market.
