Press release date: May 3, 2007

TORONTO, May 3, 2007 - Sigma Systems, a premier provider and leader in the design, development and deployment of OSS service management solutions, has been selected for deployment by Shaw Communications Inc.

Shaw Communications Inc. is the largest broadband cable television supplier in Western Canada and owns and operates a modern plant and network infrastructure.

Sigma Systems' SMP 3.0, Broadband Data and Voice Service Packages will be used to upgrade Shaw's existing Provisioning Platform, and will manage services such as High Speed Data, and Shaw Digital Phone and Shaw Business Voice. Shaw will also leverage SMP (Service Management Platform) for future IP services using the scalable, configurable and standards-based Sigma Systems Platform.

"We chose Sigma Systems because of their strong performance history at Shaw over the past 7 years, and their proven ability to manage Internet, Digital Phone and Video services", said Peter Bissonnette, President, Shaw Communications. "Implementing Sigma Systems' Service Management Platform will enable Shaw to reduce operational costs for provisioning and assist in laying the foundation to deploy next generation services for our growing subscriber and product base".

Sigma Systems' SMP, a real-time intelligent service activation and fulfilment platform, is a next generation J2EE based solution with global deployments managing triple and quad play services. Future generations of "All Play" services, including IMS based multimedia services and fixed-mobile convergence, are all enabled through Sigma Systems' Service Management Platform (SMP), the foundation for real-time OSS service fulfilment.

"Shaw's deployment of SMP 3.0 brings to them the benefits of Sigma Systems' 3rd generation investment in a platform that is designed to provide the utmost flexibility in packaging, provisioning and management of communication and multimedia services sought by Shaw's customers", said Tim Spencer, President, Sigma Systems. "SMP provides Shaw with an OSS infrastructure that can quickly adapt to new technologies and deliver future revenue generating services."
