At a recent ceremony held at Lauren Manufacturing's facility, in New Philadelphia, Ohio, members of Caterpillar's Senior Management Team presented the coveted global certification to Lauren for recognition as one of the top-performing suppliers to Caterpillar.
This award is an effort to measure supplier quality and to generate a group of preferred suppliers. The prestigious award is made only to Caterpillar suppliers who distinguish themselves by meeting stringent performance criteria in the heavy equipment industry. Efforts in continuous improvement as well as performance in delivery and service were just a few components measured as part of the certification process.
