Press release date: February 1, 2007

CARLSTADT, NJ (February, 2007) - IVECO MOTORS of North America, Inc., a Fiat Powertrain Technologies (FPT) company, proudly sponsored a generator service training seminar at Rudox Engine & Equipment Co. to prepare for the 2007 season. Attendees included 32 students from 17 dealers, covering six states, comprised of generator technicians, electricians, OEMs, electric utility companies, and engine technicians. The seminar was service oriented, offering participants thorough knowledge of IVECO MOTORS' products, with a strong emphasis on their NEF and Cursor gen drives.

Lowell Hahn, product support specialist for IVECO MOTORS, instructed the seminar in a classroom format, with topics of discussion broken out by engine family including discussion of engine models, their respective power ranges and other specific characteristics, like start up. Additionally, he covered trouble-shooting, preventive maintenance, power selection, and service for the NEF and Cursor diesel gen drives. Hahn also discussed IVECO MOTORS' new electronic service tool, PT 01 and EASY Software, a computer software program released to service technicians for IVECO MOTORS' electronic engines.

"Continued education and furthering the knowledge of our technicians only helps the end customer obtain a better product that fits their needed application," says Chris Fitzpatrick, sales and dealer development, Rudox Engine and Equipment Company. "The exceptional turn out for our generator school clearly shows the importance of such classes."

"The service training seminar was extremely beneficial to the technicians who gained hands on experience and were able to interact with our engines," says Hahn. "The expertise we shared enables the technicians to fully understand Iveco Motors' engines and their technological benefits."

Providing professionally trained service technicians is a priority for IVECO MOTORS. Their network of over 300 trained service technicians nationwide provides the superior level of support IVECO MOTORS' OEMs expect and deserve. This is just another example of IVECO MOTORS' commitment to superior service.

The activities of IVECO MOTORS of North America, together with all the other IVECO MOTORS activities around the world, converged in March, 2005 in the "Industrial & Marine" product line of Fiat Powertrain Technologies (FPT). The new sector of the Fiat Group integrates all the group's innovation capabilities and expertise in engines and transmissions.

In the last five years all IVECO MOTORS' engine families have been completely renewed adopting advanced technology in emission reduction, and providing solutions that guarantee the highest levels of performance and fuel economy. Applications include industrial machinery (earth-moving equipment, agricultural machinery and stationary power plants), marine engines (leisure and commercial marine vessels) and power generation.

In order to respond to the demands of the North American marketplace, IVECO MOTORS has operations in Carol Stream, Illinois, to deliver first class service throughout Canada, Mexico and the United States.
